Then on the 13th July Lee and the bug had the pleasure of meeting the Mayor and Mayoress of Solihull at Damson Wood School’s summer grill. Along with the FootieBugs team running a penalty shootout for the kids with Lee and the Bug in goal, all for a chance to win a FootieBugs class! Well done to the winners who scored 5 out of 5 goals against Lee. We have Future footiebugs stars in the making right there!

Did anyone spot the bug keeping fit by dancing around in the zumba class with the Damson Wood teachers and head teacher? We certainly did and it looked like so much fun!

And last, but certainly not least on the 21st July FootieBugs sponsored the Pete Miller charity football match at The West Midlands Travel Transport Stadium to help raise money for the charity.  Lee played alongside some famous ex pros and the day’s events raised a fantastic £1488.50!! During half time we had the pleasure of running a penalty shoot out for the kids (although the adults got stuck in too!) all for a chance to win a FootieBugs class! Well done again to the winners! Please click here to see some of the great photos!
